I know first-hand that dance contracts (and dance college) can be all consuming... however a social life, happiness, health and performance can co-exist. You don’t have to earn your place through exhaustion, restriction or leaving no time for a life outside of dance. There’s more nuance to this conversation than what we’re seeing online right now. If you’re picking up niggles every season / contract, always rehabbing something, or feeling like your body just isn’t bouncing back the way it should, nutrition has to be part of the conversation.
